Securing your wedding date
Upon receipt of deposit, Bride Edit will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make any other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, the reservation deposit of the coverage is non-refundable or transferable, even if the date is changed or the wedding is cancelled for any reason: including acts of God, fire, strike, covid-19 and/or extreme weather. The reservation deposit is to be paid at time of booking. The reservation deposit is applied towards the contracted service.
Cancellation Policy
In the event the client cancels the contracted services outlined in the booking before the wedding ceremony takes place, the deposit will be forfeited and the following cancellation payment structure will apply:

18 to 7 months to the wedding = 50% wedding day balance payable

6 months or less prior to wedding = full wedding balance payable
Bride Edit requires the cancellation in writing to hello@bride-edit.co.uk. This is the only method of cancellation we will accept. The deposit payment is non-refundable in any case of cancellation.
In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural or other emergencies, it may be necessary to obtain an alternative stylist / Artist. Bride Edit will make every effort to secure a replacement willing to provide a similar package as booked as the same/similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received, excluding trial payments. Should bride edit suffer any rude/abusive behavior from the bride or associates bride edit reserves the right to cancel the said booking without a refund of payments made up to date and will still require full payment for the agreed services.
The client agrees that the number of persons set to receive hair and makeup services will not become less than agreed in this bridal contract. Should there be less persons on the day the client will still be responsible for paying the full remaining balance as stated in this bridal contract/invoice. Bridal trials are non refundable if the service has already been carried out regardless if the wedding is cancelled by client or bride edit.
Travel
Travel fees will apply per team member to your chosen location and back.
Payment
The wedding deposit is to be paid via bank transfer.
The final wedding payment is payable by the Client on the wedding day in cash.
The final payment will be reduced by the reservation deposit.
Any Trial payments are to be paid for at the time the trial takes place.
Allergies / Hygiene
The Client must inform Bride Edit of any issues that may affect the use of any products or equipment, including, but not limited to allergies, sensitivities and medical conditions. Bride Edit cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to failure to inform them or assistants artists / stylists of any known conditions.
Bride Edit ensures that all equipment and products are kept sanitary and sanitized. The Client should report all skin conditions, including, but not limited to allergies, sensitivities and medical conditions prior to application. If needed a sample test of makeup can be performed on request on the skin to test reaction 24 hours to the appointment.
The Client(s) agree to release Bride Edit from any liability to skin complications due to allergic reactions.
Photography/Personal data
The Client agrees for Bride Edit to use any photography for publicity purposes which may include, but not limited to Bride Edit website and social media pages.
Personal data, including photographs will be securely stored in line with Bride Edit data protection policy as detailed in Privacy Policy.
Liability
Bride Edit is not liable for any of the suppliers recommended. Public Liability Insurance is held by Bride Edit and their assistants which covers all venues. Bride Edit is limited by the guidelines of the reception venue management.
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable under the law, the validity of this agreement as a whole shall not be affected, and the other provisions of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
Client Responsibility
It is the Clients responsibility to provide a safe and adequate working environment for Bride Edit.
The location must include:

Lots of natural or lamp lighting

Enough space
-
Outlets
-
Table for hairstyling tools and makeup kits

Enough chairs
-
Maintaining clear communication
-
Parking (Paid by client)
Bride Edit reserve the right to terminate this contract immediately should any of the terms in this contract be breached.
Miscellaneous Fees
All costs incurred for travel and delivery of this service, including but not limited to:
Airfare, hotel, parking, valet, tolls etc must be paid by the client.
Where such costs are incurred and the amount will be invoiced separately and due 14 days from the wedding date.
Delays
Everyone having their hair and makeup done should do the following and be prepared to start when Bride Edit arrives:

Have dry, clean hair

Have face clean and makeup free (if having makeup)

Wear a zip up or button down top, something that can be easily removed once hairstyle and makeup is complete.
It is the clients responsibility to communicate this information to the bridal party.
In the event scheduled services exceed the allotted time due to bride or bridal party delays, Bride Edit will make every effort to accommodate everyone. However this is solely at Bride Edit's discretion.
Hair and makeup prep
For both trials and the wedding day please ensure all hairs are washed 24 hours prior to the appointment and blowdried smooth. Please note we will not be able to blow-dry any hairs prior to styling. Please ensure all arrive makeup free before a makeup application, we will be unable to remove makeup for clients.
Please ensure you have the correct accessories needed for yourself and party, i.e. hair extensions, hair clips, lashes for both the trial and wedding day. If you are unsure if your desired style will need any of the above mentioned please feel free to ask. Please note we do not provide hair extensions or accessories.
Please note makeup trials are 1 hour for one look and hair trials are 1 hour for one look. If you require additional time please ensure this is requested in advance and a suitable fee can be arrange for this. Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes early to your trial appointment for a prompt start time. Any brides who arrive to their trial appointment more than 10 minutes late will be at risk of having the appointment cancelled and rearranged to another day to avoid the artist or stylist running behind with other clients.
Wedding day
The service you have booked and paid for is per person and not the full wedding morning duration, therefore your hair and/or makeup artist will be finished and ready to leave once the last person on the itinerary has been completed (usually an hour prior to the ceremony). Should you require your hair and/or makeup artist to stay with you to put in your veil (if you have) once you are dressed or for any last minute touch ups before you leave to walk down the isle this will be charged at £50 per half an hour, per team member.
By paying your reservation deposit and/or invoice you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
